I may use different approaches, such as emotion-focused therapy (EFT), interpersonal therapy(IPT), problem-solving therapy (PST), or mindfulness-based therapy(MBT). I also teach relaxation techniques like deep breathing exercises, journaling, and progressive muscle relaxation. Therapy aims to help you manage your symptoms, improve your quality of life, and develop coping skills that you can use in the future.
Everyone's journey to healing is unique and requires time to adjust to new experiences. However, attending therapy for a minimum of 12 sessions, which is equivalent to 3-6 months, is recommended.
